Description
This elegant French porcelain trinket box is adorned with bronze mountings and decorated with Chinoiserie-style enamel paintings. The porcelain body is hand-painted, featuring motifs of Chinese peony flowers alongside insects. These decorative elements reflect a distinct aesthetic that was especially popular in the late 19th century.
The inkwell was crafted by Samson of Paris during the late 19th century and is marked on the bottom with an Edme Samson scroll mark, ensuring its authenticity and origin.

Condition:
