Set Of Spode English Imperial Porcelain Imari Serving Platters C1825

Description

We have for sale a three-piece set of Spode Imperial earthenware that the Spode factory began producing in 1820. This earthenware is whiter than previous versions and rings like porcelain. The pattern features blue underglaze decoration with a deep magenta and gold over decoration of flowers and scrolls. (There are also three additional plates with heavy crazing that can be included if purchaser would like.)

• Most likely made around 1820-1829
• Made in England
• Makers Mark: Blue Spode Imperial
• Very good condition – there is some light wear to the gilt decoration, but overall, in very good condition for their age. – Please see photos.

Dimensions:
• Both deep platters about 12.50 inches long and 8.00 inches wide
• Plate about 9.00 inches in diameter
