Georgian Footed Bat-Print Grisaille Teacup and Saucer Staffordshire c 1830

Description

We have a lovely antique bat printed cup and saucer for sale. I believe this is a Ridgway porcelain cup and saucer, decorated all around with several Grisaille scenes of couples courting in a garden. Pretty hand-painted floral sprig design with leaf green and gold trim surrounds the grey transfer garden scenes.

• Most likely made around 1830
• Made in England
• Makers Mark: none
• Very Good condition – no chips or cracks. – Please see photos.

• Cup about 2.50 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter
• Saucer about 5.50 inches in diameter
